Hourly Rate: $32.26
Position Summary:
Full-time Integrated Mental Health Therapist position available for our Behavioral Health Department in Lynnwood, WA. Responsibilities include assessment, brief intervention counseling, consultations with primary care, patient-centered care plans, care coordination. You will be part of a team that will work toward better health outcomes by applying evidence based practices. This is a dynamic program oriented toward health care transformation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop treatment plans with patients, in consultation with other staff, to address identified emotional needs and behavioral problems.
- Gather information regarding past mental health services to be used in the individual's treatment plan development.
- Refer patients to psychiatric services as appropriate.
- Provide brief individual counseling, in coordination with other systems, as needed.
- Provide suicide risk assessment and develop treatment plans to address suicidal ideation or gestures. Use case management, as needed, and build community support to provide follow through. Provide other crisis stabilization as needed.
- Ensure that quality and performance requirements based on grants, contracts, and organizational priorities are met i.e. Clinical Quality Measures, Patient Satisfaction Measures, and Meaningful Use Measures.
Education and/or Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work which includes coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- Must have 3 or more years of experience in the field.
- Must meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
- Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Affiliated Counselor License or a Mental Health Associate License (includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker).
- Experience with mental health evaluation of children and experience with evidence-based models of treatment is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working with computers, Microsoft Office and other software.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable.
