Hourly Rate: $20.00 / $21.22
Position Summary:
Sea Mar Behavioral Health in Everett, WA is seeking a Receptionist/Financial Specialist to join the Child and Family Clinic. Candidates must have good office, interpersonal, and reasoning skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, front desk reception, answering phones, registering clients, data entry, financial screening and some patient account management in coordination with the financial specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to communicate financial information appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Conducts systematic financial screenings to determine current pay source and needs in a variety of areas.
- Assists type-A clients (Low income/ indigent) in determining eligibility for entitlement Program.
- Makes financial referrals based on identified need, to appropriate agencies/services or provide information and assist clients in self-referral.

- Provide clerical support to administrative personnel, including typing word processing and spreadsheets.
Qualifications and or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or office management.
- Two years of related work experience may be substituted for degree.
- Computer proficiency required i.e. Microsoft programs.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred not required.
