Mental Health Therapist II or III - Posting #25400
Hourly Rate: $28.68- $32.26
Position Summary:
Full-time position available immediately for our Anacortes Behavioral Health Department in Island County. The MHT II or III will also provide services in Oak Harbor. The Mental Health Therapist provides assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved with treatment. In addition, the therapist will provide individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and lead groups.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology or social work, which includes course work in psychological diagnostics, is required.
- At a minimum should meet WAC requirements for the designation of MH Professional, be licensed and have an associate's license.
- Experience with mental health evaluation of children and experience with evidence-based models of treatment is a plus.
- Must be willing to work to work with children and youth. Experience working with children and youth is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working with computers, Microsoft Office and other software.
- Good oral and written skills is a must.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
